I am getting a error when adding a WCF service reference to aspmvc 4 application.

The reference.cs file is not having any classes or methods defined in the web service.

This turned out to be a simple one. When adding a reference, browse to "Advanced" Tab and then uncheck the "Reuse types in referenced Assemblies" checkbox and then add the service reference.
