I am trying to build vc++ code in visual studio 2010,and i am getting the error mentioned above.
I have included library SLI_MP4_V1.lib and the output file name is SLI_MP4_V1.dll, but when i am changing the name of output file it gives the same error.

I would handle it this way: provide an output name different from the input one (the linker is kindly avoiding you the frustrating experience of overwriting an input file, see MSDN[^]).
