what is the best way to get data from Sql Server? export to XML or to DataTable?
From what i read there is no much difference in runtime... so what is better? or what is more 'right'...?

XML is a file format: if you export the data into XML then you have to parse somehow it (possibly loading it in a DataTable :) ) in order to perform computations.
