(BROWSER IE8): I created a page with textbox as read only. I given a calender to select the value. But when Press a F7 key. Its enabled that read only, so I was able to enter values in read only. How to over come this problem, I want the textbox as read only all the time. Please help me on this. Thank you.

Pressing F7 turns Caret Browsing on or off of the browser. As far I know you can't control this behaviour from ASP.NET or javascript. You need to change the browser settings.
