Hi all,

I want to create a setup by installshield for my winform c# application.My application works with a sql server database.
Now i have two options to add the database to the destination computer which run my setup :

1)Add the database files to the setup and then paste them in the destination computer after the setup has finished
Or
2)Create it by run some sql scripts again after the setup has finished.

Now the question is that which one is the best?

According to me 2nd one is best.

1. If you need to make any DB changes in existing application you simply need to add script for those changes.
2. Upgrade would be easy(If provided).
