i have a device with rs232 port conneted to it.I need to read data from rs232 port and should store in database. i need code in console application are in asp.net but not in vb.net

Hi Kalyan,

Is your rs232 will create virtual COM Port? If Yes, You can go with Serial Port Class. Open the port, from that u can read and write data into it. Check the below link.
