I have same program running at multiple places.
Whenever i want to update the exe i have to delete it and copy the new one.
Is there any way to update it without doing this step.
I have researched and came across something called installation software.

By definition, from the standpoint of the file system, update of the file is deleting it and creating an new one with the same name. And there are no situations when you would need to do anything else. Why? In this respect, the question simply makes no sense.

Moreover, if the application is running, the file is protected by OS and cannot be deleted/modified unless you kill all the processes using it.
