I am having some issues with SQL Server Profiler 2014 and up.  I am trying to export the Transaction SQL from the Profiler results using the "Extract Transact SQL Events" menu option under the  "Extract SQL Sever Events"  on the File menu.  All the menu option are grayed out on the "Extract Transact SQL Events" menu.  I have made sure the Trace is stopped and that the Aggregated and Group View options are NOT checked.  I an a dbOwner on the database and my effective permissions say that I have ALTER TRACE permission granted.

What is weird is that it will randomly work once, then I can never get it go export again.  I have tried everything I can think of and I can't seem to find any documentation on why this would be occurring.

In order to run a trace against SQL Server you must be a member of sysadmin fixed server role or have the ALTER TRACE permission.
Please check the permission of your login again like below screenshot.
