I am trying to define a copy job in Azure ADF, while doing so i am failing to define data type of the source schema as soon as i define the schema in the source and import the schema from source to the copy job it automatically resets to the default schema.

This type of behavior is occurring it recursively. I am, not able to get hold of the actual problem as i tried doing it by changing the JSON code and define the same over there. It shows the change but when i hit the import schema in the mapping tab of copy job it resets to default. 

Do anyone have any idea what is causing this issue.

Hi there,

You first need to "publish" the changes after making changes to the schema of the source (so that it gets saved). Once this is done, please click import schemas to configure the mapping. If it has not refreshed to show the schema that you set, please click "clear" and then import schemas again.
