We are running SharePoint 2010 Foundation version 14.0.7192.5000 and have a couple of discussion boards that users are complaining that when they type, much of the text will disappear all of a sudden while they are typing. It sounds very similar to this forum thread. We use group policy to force trusted sites and our SharePoint server is listed so that is not the issue. We are using IE 11. I also had them try adding the site to Compatibility mode but that had no effect.

I experienced this before at a different company in SharePoint 2010 Standard but the problem happened when I was typing in a post on a blog site. Entire sentences would disappear after or during when I typed (not the insert button problem).
