I work in an environment with many Log Analytics Workspaces, with many more on the way in the near future. I wanted to create a Dashboard that would give me basic metrics (avg CPU/Memory utilization, etc) from data in each workspace... Initially, I had created a View Designer, but that only supports one Workspace at a time. That would be fine if there was a way to script automatically loading in new workspaces... but as far as I can tell, there is no way to script the creation of view designer.
