I'm using VS 2008, .net 3.5 and SP1. But the ado.net Entity data model is not available in my project template list.Its really appreciable if any one say the way to add it , to the project.



Is it possible to use Entity Framework without "MVC" or should we use entity framework with "MVC" only?

Verify the following things:

1) You have to have .NET Framework 3.5 SP1 installed.

2) You have to have Visual Studio 2008 SP1 installed.

3) Your project MUST be targeting .NET 3.5. Check this in the Project -> Properties -> Application tab.
