We are currently testing the possibility to use Azure Automation to manage our servers.

We did a first test but we run into a recurrent problem. Some of our servers have SCCM client installed for other purpose than software update. On those servers (and only on those servers), the patching from Azure fails. An event is logged in the Microsoft-SMA log:

If we uninstall the SCCM client, patching from Azure works perfectly. But if we re-install the agent the patching fails again.

We never used SCCM for software update on the concerned servers (we used WSUS for approval and GPOs for schedule).

Could you please help us with this? It won't be always possible for us to uninstall client on all our servers to use Update Management. Is there a way to change this behaviour
