I am trying to connect to the admin site with the rpc endpoint but unable to connect, where the metamask says try again.

The default port (my case) seems to be 8540. Therefore, try to use a RPC endpoint like http://{Name}.{Your_Location}.cloudapp.azure.com:8540

Otherwise, you can check it up yourself. First, go to the resource group where you have deployed the consortium template, click on Deployments. From there, search for a Deployment starting with "microsoft-azure-blockchain...", click on it. On the new tab, click on Outputs, there you will see the endpoint as well as other information of the resource.
