Hi SharePoint users,

there seems to be a bug in the March 2019 CU for SharePoint. When you try to edit an excel file with special characters in the filename (e.g. ü,ä,ö,...)  from a library you are not able to check it out from within Excel directly. Even when you check it out on SharePoint before, you are not able to edit it.

重命名后，问题就消失了。

After renaming, problem was gone.

I have done a test in my SharePoint with latest cu and i cannot reproduce your issue.
