The Include button in the Copy Data activity suggest that I can decide not to include some of the fields in the process of copying data but this is misleading, because when you try to run a Pipeline that has a Copy Data Activity with a column without the Include field, it does not pass the validation, saying that some field in the Sink are not mapped... Yes! I know! That is exactly what I want!

As the errors on truncation are so bad that it does not tell you the name of the field being truncated, it would  be great to have this feature working in order to troubleshoots truncation and other issues.

I just checked this and I was able to exclude few columns from the source and still able to have the pipeline work . This is the steps which i followed 

1。删除 我们要排除的列 来源。

1. Remove the  column which we want to exclude  from the source .

2.Got to sink - >接收器数据集 - >编辑 - 架构映射（如果没有，它应该具有相同的列集，请单击清除按钮 - >再次导入架构。

2.Got to sink - > Sink Dataset -> Edit - Schema mapping ( its should have the same set of columns if not , please click Clear button -> Import schema again .

3.返回映射（在管道上）并检查来源字段的数量=   Sink字段的数量 

3.Go back to the mapping ( on the pipeline ) and check if  the number of Source fields = number of  Sink fields
