So I have been using Google Analytics behavior experiments to test two different versions of our website and determine which site gets the best sales conversion.  But Google has started to phase that out and move to its optimize platform.  Our site is an MVC site so we can't really do just one page test all that well, which is really what Optimize wants to do...  So after reading about the azure slots, it sounds like a perfect way to do the a/b test... problem is, all I see and all I can find online is how to test and monitor page errors and server performance, I cant seem to find anything that I can tie sales numbers to a slot.

So any help in this area would be a huge step forward.

Goal: Test one version of the website (original) against another version of the site (Possibly a new look or framework) and determine what version of the site returns the best conversion rate.

Application insights may be a good way to get telemetry on performance and overall usage. It supports server and client side data capture. You can then integrate with other data processing tools for more analysis like PowerBi.
