Hi - was hoping I could get an answer on whether connecting to Azure SQL Database is supported with the legacy MDAC ODBC Driver (pre Native Client) such as the old 2.8 SP1 ODBC Driver.  Various forums seem it is recommended to be either on the latest ODBC Driver, or at least ODBC Driver 11, to connect to Azure SQL Database but I need to know if the older one is supported.
