I see numerous references to the report server's database containing multiple servers in the KEYS table. Can anyone point to a reference on how I can resolve this problem? From what I gather a "scale out deployment" is where more than one report server accesses a report server database... this is definitely (and was not) the case in this instance. Every link on google I can find references deleting "old" servers from the KEYS table... but this doesn't appear to be applicable in my case. I have one server in my keys table in addition to the NULL entry.

I imagine there's an entry somewhere in a configuration file or table, somewhere, that I just "flip" to a different value to "disable" this "feature".... but I can't find it anywhere.

Alternately, I've seen references to simply creating a new Reporting Services database for 2016 and then copying the reports... Not sure how I can do this though, since the http://instance/reportserver link keeps yielding the "scale out deployment" error above.
