Hi I'm trying to evaluate if SSIS is going to be the right tool for evaluating migration of a Oracle database to Sql Server for our client. 

I've downloaded the SQL server express edition, but SSIS doesn't appear to work with it. 

I called up Microsoft Technical service and they asked me to install the SQL Server full version. 

I downloaded the exe but couldn't install it. 

It fails with an error: 

The application cannot find one of its required files, possibly because it was unable to create it in the folder. Please make sure that the folder in which this application was downloaded is accessible and not read-only. 

The customer service personnel advised me to post my query in this forum. 

I need to work out the options for my client pretty soon, please help.
