i have a time dimension in the following format Year-> Quarter -> month

but it fails to integrate correct results when doing month vs previous month

What i need after discussing with my boss is not a new hierarchy which would be Year-> month and solved through the following 

IIF(
([Measures].[Measures].[Sales Euros],
[v Time3 1].[KPI Month].CURRENTMEMBER.PARENT)=0,Null,
([Measures].[Sales Euros],
[v Time3 1].[KPI Month].CURRENTMEMBER)/
([Measures].[Sales Euros],
[v Time3 1].[KPI Month].CURRENTMEMBER.LAg(1)))

but probably an mdx that , for first months only, to go up to the quarter level, get previous quarter, and finally get its last month.

 can you please provide the syntax ,or, some comments, or, functions i should use as a starting point?

According to your description, it seems that you want to compare previous with current date level, right? If so, you above expression should work. Below is my test,
