Hi,for example you have a php website and a home page named as index.php but if any one types to her Browser address bar; www.example.index.php/z the page is displayed with some errors(with out style.css) I want to redirect the user to example.com or I want to show a 404 error messag,if some one can explain this error I will be happy,I dont have a clue

You should be able to create a file called 404.shtml which is loaded when a 404 error message is generated. I'm working on the fact that you are using apache and if it still fails then you can look at the following site to explain the way the error catching works for this web server
