Hi,

I have created a WP8 application with phonegap. Now i need to create same application for Windows 8. PhoneGap says to create it using Html5/Javascript metro app. There i need to use windows Runtime Component to call C# code. I tried to use WebRequest in a windows Runtime Component class, but IAsyncResult etc. classes are not available in it.
If I go for Html5/Javascript metro app, i will have to write a lot of my code in javascript (except the one which is already there). So, i thought of using Windows 8 Xaml app. but i think phoneGap is not available for it.

Also, I have a lot of functionality to be performed in native C# code. One thing i tried is calling a class library from windows Runtime Component library. but i am not sure if its a right approach. And also, it doesn't allow me to debug the code written in windows Runtime Component classes.

Please suggest me what approach i should go with?
Also, is there any database available for Windows 8 metro apps (isolated storage or local DB).
