We are trying to access on-premises resources from Azure Function app. However, it seems that we can't use "On-Premises Data Gateway" which is available for "LogicApps" and some other services. What is the easiest and right way to access on-premises resources from Azure function apps? Thanks.

Currently there is no built-in feature in Azure Function to connect to on premises resources.
