Hello, I'm currently trying to find log files in our Azure App Service that provides information regarding which IP addresses the request came from and which URL endpoints where hit. I have found a log file under the folder structure of /Logfiles/http/rawlogs via FTP which does provide exactly what we are looking for but only goes back as far as 03/26/2019 but we need to go back as far as 11/01/2018 . Is there anywhere that i can find this file with past logs. How far back can i go and where do i find these previous files.

Since you found the web server (IIS) logs in your file system, it would appear that you selected filesystem for your storage. The amount of your log files can be controlled by two parameters. A quota up to 100 MB or a rention policy. If either of the parameters are hit, the log file is deleted. It appears you are likely hitting either limit. You can confirm your selection by going into the diagnostic logs blade of your app.

If you need historical logging, I would highly suggest switching to storage as the method of logging and this will store the logs in a Azure Blob Storage account. This way you shouldn't be limited by size and you control the rention policy to fall in line with your business requirements.
