I have a downstream device running IoT C SDK; and it is being provisioned via DPS with TPM authentication. By the end of provisioning I received iothub_uri and device_id in callback; and I can connect to the device with function IoTHubDeviceClient_LL_CreateFromDeviceAuth without problem.

However problem arose when I wanted to relay the telemetry data via a transparent IoT Edge gateway. According to IoT Edge documentation, I would have appended a "GatewayHostName=<>" at the end of connection string and call the function IoTHubDeviceClient_LL_CreateFromConnectionString.
