Hi All. I'm trying to create accounts for all my staff to be used with staff computers, so I discovered Azure and signed into it with my Microsoft account, I went to Active Directory but buttons such as "Create New User" "Create New Group" are all greyed out and many pages (including Roles and administrators) tell me I do not have permission to access them, and to ask the owner, I'm not quite such who the owner of my own account would be, other than myself.

To me it sounds like you are using a personal account and not a work or school account. A easy way to tell this is go to Azure Active Directory and at the top should be your domain such as abc.com. It it appears something like this04s5fuu1-a5s5-4e4e-9s33-5v571t91255e

If this is the case you'll want to do a internal takeover https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/active-directory/users-groups-roles/domains-admin-takeover

If this does not work can you see other users in the AAD?
