In the classic site one could link an html file via the content link on the content editor webpart, as seen in the screenshot below-

How can one do the same on a modern site? I tried adding the Modern Script Editor Webpart but then you can't link an HTML file to it.

默认情况下，现代脚本编辑器Webpart无法链接到.html文件，我建议您切换文件从.html扩展名到.aspx扩展名。
It’s by default the Modern Script Editor Webpart cannot link to a .html file, I recommend you switch the file from .html extension to .aspx extension.
