I have a pay as you go subscription. I created 2 new VM's a couple of weeks ago. Just basic VM's with the basic 128GB disk size. I made sure to stop them after I created them. There has been no usage, no data stored on these VM's. Basically I just created and then stopped and status has been showing as dellocated. Other than resources associated with the VM's, there are no other resources in my Azure account right now.

Nonetheless, I am showing a "current cost" of $95, with most of it being for storage. The month has not ended, so I can't see the invoice yet.

How did you stop the VMs? From the operating system or from the Azure portal/Cloud Shell?

You need to make sure the VMs are "Stopped (Deallocated)" in the Azure Portal.

当您将VM设置为"已停止（已取消分配）"时状态，当您处于该状态时，不会向您收取VM的每小时计算时间。

When you set your VM as "Stopped (Deallocated)" status, you are not being billed the hourly compute time for the VM while it is in that state.
