My company uses sharepoint 2010 to build a knowledge datea base consisting of hundreds of pages that need to edited and updated using the browser. They recently upgraded me to a Mac and I'm having a few issues when trying edit sharepoint pages through the browser.

• When using Safari / Chrome: When ever I try to make an edit to text or any kind of formatting it will automatically jump to the top the page. This makes it difficult because we have pages that are very long, and if we are making multiple text and formatting edits it will keep jumping to the top of page.
  
• Also when working with tables/images you are unable to select the item and move it up or down...basically instead selecting and showing a bounding box around it it just highlights it...and you don't get the move curser (cross symbol with the arrows).

Anyone have any suggestions and how to get edit sharepoint more fluidly on Mac, without using windows.

It appears to me that this could be a browser compatibility issue. Do other users have same symptoms when using SharePoint via Safari or Chrome?

First we recommend you to update your browsers to latest version. If that doesn’t fix the issue, you can try IE tab in Chrome for IE compatibility issues.
