We have been using Site Recovery for a while and like the feature set. During a recent database upgrade the consultants we used configured the SQL server to use log shipping to a secondary server (on premise).

I am now tasked with replicating those servers to our ASR for disaster recovery purposes.

When I try to setup initial replication but it fails each time it starts. I suspect log shipping may be the cause.

Is it possible to use ASR with log shipping enabled and if so are there any special steps I need to follow?
AS for support we don’t know of any issue with log shipping and ASR being sued in parallel. If you've noticed issues and if it doesn't work well then I recommend reaching out to support team for such issues for further investigation and help.
