I deployed a web app in AppInsight through AI Status Monitor. For that first I hosted my application on IIS.

I am not able to get IP Address(coming as 0.0.0.0) of client hitting service, in AI performance section.

Any solution or suggestion

Hello gaAAI,

Yes, it is indeed true that all octets of the client web address are always set to 0 after the geolocation attributes are looked up by Application Insights. This change has been made to address customer concerns with IP address and the impact of GDPR. More here.

Nevertheless, you may still submit IP as a custom property (if required) via Telemetry Initializers available in most AI SDKs, however, this moves responsibility for handling that IP as well.
