My existing asp.net webforms application was developed with rdlc 2005, recently i migrated to visual studio 2017, there i installed the reportviewer from nuget package manger the version 10.0.0., but when i try to open my rdlc report it asks me to convert the file in latest rdlc format on conversion, the file got rdlc definition 2012 and save the previous version of report with reportname Backup file,  but some how w, hen i try to open the report i got error as

if i run the project  to display my rdlc 2005 report i got the error, the report definition is invalid,  i installed the microsoft rdlc report designer for visual studio and microsoft reporting services project, also installed the microsoft reprotingservice.reportviewercontrol.webforms version 10.0.0.0, but no help, please somebody help as i spend whole day fixing this issue but no success, TIA
