If I gave the type of resource, I was wondering if there was a REST API or something similar that would give me all the rules of naming a resource. In particular, I was wondering about maximum length, minimum length, forbidden characters, and required characters.

Hi Vtechno If we discuss about REST API for APIM management Here is the complete list and regarding your query of naming a resource and checks like maximum length, minimum length, forbidden characters and required characters . As far as I know these validation seems to be on UI front rather than at the server side. So unfortunately there is no such REST API for these. Hope this will help.
