there is a option in visual studio "Build->Publish websites" i publish my web site using this option .. and i get an build application as an output by publishing it . then i have uploaded this application.
and now i want to change in this application so i dowanload this code againand try to change but when i open this application in my visual studio then it says that
"you are attempting to open a precomplied website.You can view the site , but changes might cause the web site to stop functioning. To modify a site , it is recommanded that you edit the files in the original web site , precompile the site , and then publish again . Do you wish to continue and open this web site"

but unfortunatly i have not available the original web sites then can i do something to change my application ... i googled but not find any way ?




pls give suggetion , how to do this ?

You can probably do it - RedGate Reflector can do it I believe, though I've never tried.
But...what you get is unlikely to be that useful.

If you don't have access to the old source then I suspect you are going to be better off (in terms of time taken) recreating the site from scratch as a new project rather than working with the output of a decompiler.
