Excluding C:\Users\<usename>\Appdata\roaming causes UWP (Universal Windows Platform) app errors. I don't see this restriction warning in the UWF doc.

Rather than uwfmgr.exe file add-exclusion %appdata%, try uwfmgr.exe file add-exclusion C:\Users\<usename>\Appdata\
