Hello Everyone,

I have a following requirement for my work as I have a knowledge about SSIS but not much aware about Azure data Factory.

Requirement :

I will get Excel files On-Prem.My task is to copy Excel files to Blob.As per my understanding I can create normal SSIS package with Azure upload task.But Client is saying that He wants to use ADF SSIS Integration Runtime for the same.
So, Can you please tell me how It is different from others.

Once Files will be available in Azure blob, I need to copy all data into Azure SQL.

Can someone help me on the same?

Hi Aminesh, 

Azure-SSIS runtime can be used to run ssis packages on Azure. 

So your task would be divided into two steps:

1, Develop an SSIS package to load file to Azure Blob

Uploading On-Premise data to Azure Blob Storage using SSIS

2, Deploy the package to Azure-SSIS IR.

You will need to parameterize the connectionstrings and configure them after deployment.
