Hello,

in our environment we have a custom edit form created in SharePoint Designer 2013.

In this edit form we display a person and group field:

If I mouse my mouse over the status image the hover panel pops up - thats good.

But If I mouse my mouse over the person name the hover panel does not pop up. Is there anyway to make this happen?

For display user information, you could directly get the person field data with Rest API and then show user name, email etc:
