Hello.

I have a 700 GB SQL database I'm trying to deploy to Azure via SSMS. Everything is fine until right until end at the Importing Database setp, where is fails wit:

Unknown edition 'GeneralPurpose'
Parameter name: AzureEdition (Microsoft.SqlServer.Management.Dac.DacWizard)

If I go into the Azure SQL server I'm trying to deploy into I can add new and choose the vCore pricing model and create a database using it, so it's not as if my subscription doesn't understand that.

How can I get past this error?

This database isn't going to subject to the sort of CPU and IO load needed to justify the premium DTU based tier I'd need to fit the size, so the vCore model is ideal for the low CPU high storage volume requirements of this DB.
