I have enabled telemetry for azure media services and when a video asset is played the details are getting logged but if i play the video once the request count doesnt say 1 , the count says 11 / 8/7 etc.

The telemetry is for the streaming endpoint, not a specific file.  So the count going up is the number of client fragment requests that the streaming endpoint is processing.  Keep in mind that the video fragments are between 2 and 10 seconds.  You will have a request for the manifest and each individual fragment.  You can use Fiddler or a similar tool to see the individual fragments being requested when you stream a video.
