Do we need to manually create the tables at the sink(DWH) before triggering pipeline or the tables will get created automatically ?

Or is it the turn of Polybase to create them before loading.. I am aware of polybase but I always saw that we need to manually create the table while using polybase.

As mentioned in the prerequisites Create corresponding table schemas in SQL Data Warehouse. You can use Migration Utility to migrate schema from Azure SQL Database to Azure SQL Data Warehouse. You use Azure Data Factory to migrate/copy data in a later step.
