I have an Edge Extension with Native Messaging. It works perfectly well if the appx manifest file has the following:

<TargetDeviceFamily Name="Windows.Universal".

Yet, the validation fails on upload to Microsoft Store because apparently the TargetFamily should be Windows.Desktop.

So, which is right? <TargetDeviceFamily Name="Windows.Universal" or <TargetDeviceFamily Name="Windows.Desktop"?

Note that the moment I set the target family to Windows.Desktop the extension does not appear in Microsoft Edge!
