We are gettting this error for IIS7 on Windows 2012. "The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion.(2147943453, 8007041d)". Can you please help to resolve this issue?

W3SVC service is stuck on stopping state.

This issue is automatically resolved when reboot the server.

In event viewer. I have found the following error.

IIS Reset encountered an error while stopping services, which was requested by administrator.  The logged data is the status code.  Since the force option is on, IIS Reset will now terminate the services' processes.  This may cause SCM to report errors about the services exiting.

Issue resolved, the problem was due to July 10, 2018—KB4338815. After uninstalling this KB the issue has been resolved.
