My new users are having trouble connecting via ftp. They are getting the response: 530 User <username> cannot log in.

Any user prior to migrating from dnp to wsp can log in fine. The issue seems to be with accounts created after the migration. On the surface all settings seem the same. ftproot has wspftpusers with appropriate permissions. All ftp accounts are members of wspftpusers. The users are also mapped under the default ftp site in iis.

Can someone shed some light on what the cause may be? I have quite a few users that cannot access their site via ftp.
