Here is the problem: I copy Word 2007 content with images and paste into Expression Web. I then save file to my web server, but images do not display in Internet Explorer browser - but they do display in FireFox browser. I would expect that a 100% microsoft solution with a simple paste of Word content into Expression web and then saved to a Widnows based web server (hosted by GoDaddy), that the results would be acceptable.
This problem has persisted for 4 consecutive years, through multiple computers, multiple versions of IE, multiple hosted web sites, Word 2003 and Word 2007, published to HTML pages and ASPX pages, and then same issue was found with Front Page.
I write large manuals in Word - and I just want to copy paste the content to a web page. i did this in the past to the tune of 25,000 web pages with good results, but over the past 4 years both Front Page and Expression web no longer support this simple operation.
This is my last ditch effort, and if I can not find resolution, I think that Dream Weaver and Mozilla are in my future, and will be the tools of choice that I demonstrate in my technology lectures. Renee - are you out there - do you have an answer? - do you care?

Short answer - No, we don't care. And who the hell is Renee?
Longer answer - This is a user-to-user forum. With a very few exceptions, enumerable on one hand, none of us are Microsoft employees. We are volunteers who take time out from our own schedules to try to help others. We pay for our Microsoft products, receive no remuneration from their sales, and really couldn't care less whose Web design product you use. In point of fact, I and many others here use both Expression Web and Adobe products, including Dreamweaver. Therefore, if you're feeling froggy, jump. I assure you that we will sleep just as soundly knowing that you're gone.
Now, putting your attitude aside for the moment, this is the issue. Word is not a Web design tool. Got that? Let me repeat if for you, just in case. Word is not a Web design tool. It produces output appropriate for print, not for the Web. Its Web markup is atrocious, bloated, cross-browser incompatible, and non-standards-compliant.
The reason that it's been several years since your workflow has worked is that that is about when Web standards began to be recognized and implemented by browsers. Word markup is not standards-compliant, and it has serious cross-browser issues because of its Microsoft-proprietary nature.
And if you think you're going to have any easier time of it with Deamweaver, give it a shot. It will still be the same ____ markup, and you'll be out several hundred dollars.
