This is practically useless, and it is especially useless for .NET, due to very apparent openness of the technology, where all the metadata is present. You can use one of the obfuscators, but it cannot really stop anyone, only would make reverse-engineering more expensive and very unpleasant. There are more serious and advanced protection products, they are expensive, and the specialists in reverse engineering write that they present no problems for them, especially well-known products, as they are very well studied by people doing reverse engineering.
