I am looking for a solid platform to build automated run book scripting for Hyper-V provisioning. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know what you are using.

I believe this post is old and based on Hyper-V 2008 R2 which is does not support built-in scripts for automation.

However with Windows Server 2012 or later, the product team has added a native Hyper-V PowerShell module, so you can now create automated scripts using PowerShell.
