 have been using synctoy for quite some time and am very happy with its results.

When I try to use Synctoy with Samsung Galaxy S3, I can see the folders on my phone but the "OK" button to select the folder remain inaccessible. (dim coloured).

I have tried both type of USB options available on my phone that is MTP and PTP modes, but no effect.

Is there any method to sync this phone using synctoy.

You will need to Root your phone.  Then install SuperUser, busybox and USB Mass Storage Enabler.  Then and only then you will be allowed to use SyncToy on your Galaxy S3.

It took me over 2 weeks to find out how to do all of this.  The problem lies in Android dropping the USB Mass Storage mode and giving us MTP and PTP.   MTP is media Transfer Protocol and PTP is Photo Transfer Protocol.  Neither show up on your PC as a 'drive'.   USB Mass Storage does.

Once you are Rooted, then SyncToy will work.
