Yes, that is possible.  In the Project ribbon, click the Set Baseline pick list button and select the Set Baseline item.  In the Set Baseline dialog, select the Set Interim Plan option.  Click the Copy pick list and select the numbered Baseline, such as Baseline2.  Click the Into pick list and select the Baseline item.  Assuming you have already baselined your project, Microsoft Project will warn you that you are about to overwrite the existing baseline data.  Click the Yes button and then click the OK button.
