History:
I had a copy of the CTP working fine a couple of weeks ago. Rather than copy the VMC/VHD, I copied the extractor and extracted a new copy on an external disk drive. I do have this running on VPC 2007 SP1 on Vista Home Premium (not supported, of course).

Problem:
I cannot log into the CTP. I have tried all of the accounts as listed below (from the download site):

Administrator: TFSSETUP, password: 1Setuptfs (use this account to explore the CTP)

Administrator: Administrator,password: P2ssw0rd

User: TFSREPORTS, password: 1Reports

User: TFSSERVICE, password: 1Service

For each, I get the message "The user name or password is incorrect." I have tried the following (thinking of any impediment that can possibly cause an issue that I can solve where I am right now):

1. Gave everyone full control rights to the directory and VMC/VHD files, just in case there was some strange permissions issue with the files.
2. Hooked up to internet (broadband) just in case there was some hook to the Internet that was mandatory.
3. Downloaded the files again and re-extracted (very long shot) just in case I had a corrupted copy

I cannot move the files off the external drive. If that is the problem, I will have to wait until I am back home to play again. The same is true with upgrading from Home Premium to Ultimate (have the disks, but not here -- did not realize this was Home Premium). I am open to any other ideas.

I've had the exact same experience. No passwords will log in. I also have downloaded and unpack this twice! Very frustrating.
